How to Turn off The aggravating Door Chime

I've got an '07 v6. I just want to know if there's any other way to turn the door chime off permanately instead of having to buckle the seat belt up before I start the engine.

i think its in the manual.. i think it says the sequence to shut it off... at least thats how i turned it off in my 01

At least our chimes arnt as bad as the ones in the new beamers that are basically a constant beep
