No one means to insult you. The Mark 3 package has zero performance upgrades, no way it has 275hp.

The fact that you beat a Tiburon is irrelivant, they suck. The fact you beat a stock sixer means nothing, there could have been so many different variables that effect the outcome. He/She could have backed off before you, or maybe wasn't racing at all, not giving full gas etc. There are so many variables man.

The only way to settle this is by taking it to a dyno.

This forum knows what there talking about and I would hesitate to trust the people that spend there time on here. Seriously , your engine looks Bone Stock, you have exhaust but otherwise our cars make 210hp and 240ftlbs (Not even to the wheels). End of Story.

I will put $100 down that a stock V6 will be faster:

Cannot overcome the weight added...the exhaust is an insignigicant change.

Yeah it actually doesn't sound as bad as I thought it would..........but the thing we are all trying to do is get you on the straight and narrow and lead you in the right direction. It's just some people are more harsh than others and you will either except that or end of leaving the forums. Dont' take everything to heart. But people usually like proof here.....for example your races. Without proof it's just a ricer story. We are trying to let you know what's what and what's been made up.

There is a lot of information to get from these forums and alot for you to learn. But either way welcome and hope you broaden yourmuscle carhorizons!!!

Sounds good. Just give us some information on that "Stock V6." Like is it an auto or manual, basic or Pony Package, size rims. Things like that can make a difference, but the most important difference is the experience of the driver.
From what I've read, your car with the body kit sounds heavier, unless the driver of the other V6 is a hefty person and can't drive, then there's no contest for you.

I know where Barrett Parkway is! Where do they race? Maybe I should come up with my stock V6(all I have is exhaust) and see what you can do with your Mark III .
