Default Flowmaster AT issue

I have a single flowmaster AT series muffler and have been having a problem. Every time I start the car and get up to 1000 rpms i can hear this noise like metal on metal and the floor vibrates lightly. I have no idea what is causing this and its getting very annoying any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Default RE: Flowmaster AT issue

well, its most likely the clamp that holds the muffler on...i know i had to torque the sh@t out of it when i installed mine flowmaster at. then after about 200 miles, had to tighten it again. then a year later, i had to tighten it again. Even when you think it is as tight as you can get it, i had to put a cheater bar on it and tighten some more.
