I know I've not posted here much, but I'm always here reading and learning. I just bought a dual exhaust off flea bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...SA:MOTORS:1123
And I'm wondering if ya'll can tell me what else I need to install this system on my stock pony? Hangers, more pipe, ect? Also I'm having trouble with the search function. I try using it and it always turns up no matches. I've tryed everthing and no matches. I saw on here awhile back, someone posted a template to cut the rear bumper, for the second exhaust. If someone could show me a link, I would be thankful. I have a shop that sell the front & rearGT bumpers, but they haven't gotten them in white yet. They are still looking for me and think they should have a set in this month or next. So if they don't come in right away, I need to trim the rear bumper for the exaust. Also How are you posting pictures, as I would like to show everyone my car. Thanks!

Pypes bumper cutout for duals is located in "How to info" in the
drivetrain section at the top of the page of the V6 forum here.

try the link here. Looks like you need midpipes, driver's side hanger
and bolts. There is plenty of info in the "how to areas" of this site.
If not there, just ask. If you don't have the midpipes already and
don't have a wholesaler source, RockAuto here on the net has very
reasonable prices. The Pypes hangers are a good alternative to the
Ford OE ones plus cheaper.

I was watching that as well...had it come with the over the axle pipe/hangers I would have bid on it

Thanks cobrabobby. Well I guess I still need a few more things. Does anyone have the part #'s for the drives side hangers? I new to the mustang and not sure about the mid pipe that is being mentioned. Does someone have a diagram of the the system or a ling to the midpipes I need for the install. I checked out Rock auto and didn't see them.

Here's the hangers from one source. You only need one:

55248 is the part# for the LH midpipe. You will only need the left
side as you can modify the stock 6 pipe on the right side for use if'
you want to save. You'll have to search Rockauto for the price but
it's cheap. The exhaust parts from Rock Auto are Dynomax. Much
cheaper than the Ford parts.

Correction on the last post: You will need one SET (2 Hangers) not one hanger.

The pypes one isn't that accurate. my dad and I measured everything out and pypes was wrong with some of the dimensions. we ended up using a jigsaw with our own template and it worked out great.

I used the Pypes template and it was accurate. Maybe you didn't print it out correctly?

You can go to Photobucket.com and upload your pictures there (FREE). Once you have done that, highlight and copy the Direct Link and paste it here. You'll notice an icon at the top of the box on the far right (Add Image)...click on that. A box will pop up. I usually delete the http:// and paste the link in that box. You may want to make sure you edit the photo before pasting it here so it won't be too large.
