Default RE: you guys were right

any body know of a good place to get one with 3.73's already in it?
i know of newtakeoff, but one question about that product from there, will that 8.8 fit all the v6 brake stuff that is stock on our cars? and is it meant for a direct bolt up?

just some clarifying question needing answered, any more comments or ideas greatly appreciated

An 8.8 will fit a V6 as the rear brakes are the same as a GTs rear brakes.
Its all the same back there. Bolt her up and go.
You need the correct V6 Pinion Flange to mate the 8.8 rear end
to the V6 driveshaft.
www.newtakeoff.com sells the 8.8 with 3.73s and T-Loc that
already has the V6 Pinion Fange properly installed.

Mustang 8.8" Rear Axle
Assembly 2005-2008 3.73:1
Ratio w/ABS w/Trac-Loc
Pinion Flange For Mustang V6

$879.99

Kinda costly after shipping, but it is better, has the desired gears and a T-Loc.
Plus its kinda a plug-n-play situation. No gears to set up. No pinion nuts to loosen
or reinstallto the correct torque specs.

I'd go with the one piece DS if money allows it.
