You may end having toadd the brace as well. The stock brace is shaped like an upside down U. When you hit a large bump on the driver's side the springs compress and the stock panhard rod fits into the U. The adjustable brace has a large turnbuckle and it may not fit into the U and may bang when it hits the sides of the brace. The BMR brace rather than being shaped like an upside down U is flat and the panhard rod won't hit it and bang on it.

Install the adjustable panhard rod and after having driven it for a while, you'll know if it's hitting or not (you will definitely hear it if it does). If it doesn't bang, don't worry about it and keep the stock brace.

Ummmm, Yeah......What he said! (did I do it right this time)

Great thanks, I will have to keep an ear out for that.

I think you guys are talking about the UCA or 3rd link.

The panhard brace is just another straight piece.

No, I know the difference between the Upper Control Arm or 3rd link (which sits above the pumpkin)

a Panhard rod

and a Panhard rod brace, which is straight from end-end but the stock one is inverse U shaped in cross section rather than flat.

When I installed my Roush rear springs I also installed an adjustable bar to center the wheels ... purely for aesthetic reasons as well. I am still using the factory brace with no problem. Supposedly even from the factory the wheels are not always centered ...

I have heard that too, but with my rims/tires they stick out already so it is much more noticable. I will take before after pics.

My car was like that - the rear was shifted to the left slightly when viewed from behind. The mechanic who installed my new bar and aligned my car said the factory configuration was indeed off-center. It became noticable after installing the larger rear tires.
