Default Need a better shifter - Who all makes em?

Compared by the Hurst in my 97 Camaro SS the V6 shifter feels like it's made of rubber. I believe it has a Tremec 5 speed which should be a top loader style vs. the new GT's that use a bar.

Could I use one of the performance shifters made for the older GT's with the Tremec?

Who makes really good ones?

Did a little research and thought I'd share what i found.

Right now mustanfshifters.com sells an "economy shifter" for the V6. They don't know when pro 5.0 or a steeda tri-aqx is coming out.

so i'll be holding off for a little while.

The 2005 Mustang specs PDF from fordvehicles.com say V6 coupe is 4.0L/T5, Standard, (TREMEC/Mexico)

I wonder if that means any Shifter for T5/45 Transmission would work.

I'll have to contact some sellers and find out.
