Which mods for my 'Stang?

RE: Which mods for my 'Stang?
The X-Charger is an excellent choice for going FI on a daily driver. I know there are many satisfied customers out there who would agree.
Regarding add'l mods, the only one I would consider required would be to check your driveshaft. Being a 2005, if the u-joint caps are only pressed in and not held in place with retaining clips, then that would be something to change out for a 1-piece aluminum DS. Being a stickshift, you could also upgrade to a 8.8" take-off rear with the stock 3.31:1 or 3.55:1 gearing (and you can self-install if you are moderately talented with tools). That would get you an upgraded rear-end and LSD, but I wouldn't consider that required if you're just looking for add'l umph for your daily driver. You may want to upgrade to a better muffler(s) if you haven't done so already.
That being said, getting a used S197 GT could also be a good choice for you. Another choice might be a new 2008. In the States, Ford is offering a $7K rebate on the Stangs, and the one I saw at the dealer was listed on a GT. That's a very nice incentive!

RE: Which mods for my 'Stang?
Thanks 28HopUp, I was looking at the Steeda aluminum driveshaft http://www.steeda.com/products/steed...riveshafts.php. Do you think that would be a good upgrade? Also, do you know a website where I could possibly get it cheaper? I would probably replace the rearend a few months after I buy the xcharger and the shaft. Would that DS work with this rearend and my stock one? http://newtakeoff.com/index.asp?Page...mp;ProdID=8265. I know im asking alot of questions, but I don't want to mess up my Mustang Last question for now, where would I purchase a dual exhaust system for my V6, and a bumper to fit the dual exhaust? Which muffler sounds the best?
Thank you so much for your help.

Not changing the subject but a X charged 4.0 would kill a gt, right, how modded could a gt be to were a s/c 4.0 could still beat it? mine being an example, 4.10, tlock, a good tune, full exhaust(headers included)?
