If your going for a SC, save up for it and don't bother with a CAI...

Welcome to MF! Read all you can in the different S197 sections.

Regarding cams, there were 2 members who bought reground cams from PowerHouse before they stopped selling them. Their heads were reworked, and the results were v. good, but it is a b!tch to degree them due to the lack of timing marks. SuperSix Motorsports may have reground cams, but I do not klnow of anyone who has installed them yet. BlowBy Racing is rumored to be coming out with them too for the 4.0L, but there has been zero info from them in a while.

Yea, going internal on the 4.0 has been iffy. There is also a 4.3 stroker kit available somewhere.

Doing cams and a s/c will probably put you near 10k, I think...

Which, is not going to leave you much money for other mods.

I think you should hold off on the CAI/tuner...I know it will suck...but just save the money.

You will def. need to look at some suspension mods if your going to track your car.
