If i went with the Stingers all I would need then is to order an X pipe and the FFRP stingers correct?

**EDIT** I just got back from the dealer and I can get the GTA kit for only 369 so I think that is worth it.

I think I'm still gonna go with the stingers. The sound of it is just too good for me to turn down.

Even if it is loud as long as it is deep.

And, does anyone have a clip of the GTAs? A good one? I've never heard them before. And if I have, its been from a ****ty clip.

Clips are helpful but I've found that hearing these exhausts in real life is the best way to judge them. Unfortunately, that isn't always easy to do. When I got my MRT I went out on a limb after hearing a few clips and got it. So far after hearing other exhausts in person (Pypes Street Pro, Flowmaster 40, JBA, Magnaflows, and GT take-off) I have been happy I made the decision that I did.

+1. The clips are good to give you a rough idea of how the mufflers will sound, and a rough idea of how they will compare to other mufflers, but there are so many variables about camera quality/how it's filmed that the clips aren't really that great. If it's possible to hear them in real life, definitely the best way to go. And the clips never give you the full volume or "fullness" of sound that the real deal will put out.

The Stingers are definitely a bit loud and definitely a bit deep. I absolutely love the sound they make, I haven't heard anything that really rivals it for the V6. Sound is totally subjective of course, but as far as I'm concerned the Stingers mufflers are a great fit for the 4.0 Mustang.

will the stingers cause torque loss over a GTA style muffer with more backpressure?????
The big difference will be whether you put on an H or an X pipe. The Stinger mufflers are flow-through style (where you can see light through them) whereas the GTAs are chambered, so the Stingers naturally have better air-flow and thus less backpressure.

If you go with an H pipe you will feel a bit of loss in torque at the low end. It's nothing major, and it definitely doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the car (especially because of how wicked it sounds), but it is there and you can feel it somewhat. If you go with an X pipe the sound won't be quite as amazing as with the H (still very, very good sound, but there is a slight difference), but there is no noticeable loss in backpressure from what I can tell when taking off.

You will need an X or H-Pipe, mid pipes which are the ones that go over the rear end, mufflers of course, and hangers for the drivers side muffler.
