Default Has anyone painted their valve covers?

I would like to go with the sleek chrome look but I cannot seem to find Chrome S197 V6 valve covers. I think I am just going to follow Taco Bill's write up for the GT andpaint mine to match the car. Just wondering if anyone had done this or has pictures? Thanks

all ive painted is my fuse box lid and alternator cover... i would love to do the rest but i drive my car every day so i dont have time to take it apart to paint it.

i would follow Taco bills write up but use chrome paint...make shure to get all the grease and oil off and make shure no debris gets in the the block...id use rubbing alchohol or vinigar or simple green to get the oil and crap off and then use Duplicolor high temp primer and then get the paint make shure you use HIGH TEMP PAINT because it can withstand temps upto 400 degrese. good luck!!

That does look great. Sure helps in an otherwise boring engine bay...
