So just yesterday me and my buddy decided to paint my valve covers and alternator cover with Dupli Color high heat paint it came out to an almost perfect match. Tell me what you guys think and has anyone else done this?

2 Coats of a base coat then 4 coats of the red coat. It took us about an hour to take them both out and it was a pain in the *** to get the drivers side one out because you have to disconnect the fuel line due to no play on it and it wouldnt be able to come out otherwise.

Not too hard though.

Ps. With a black stang Id say Blue, Red,or Silver would be nice.

I am soooo doing this soon. LOL your like the columbus of the engine bay. HA I am doing mine in Vista Blue so we can get a good comparison of the red/blue once I am done. How much did the paint run you?
