I crossed over to the other side today!
Up until about about 4 hours ago I was driving a 2006 V6 Tungesten Grey coupe with Pony Package, Interior Upgrade and automatic with 15,000 miles on it. My wife and I wereon my way to a Ford dealer in Evansville Indiana to look at a 2006 Torch Red GT with 5 speed and interior Upgrade and we stopped at another Ford dealer. Sitting right next to the driveway wasa 2007 Tungeston Grey GT with 3,000 miles and with Interior Upgrade, 5 Speed and Shaker 500 with 6 CD changer. It did not have leather seats. At first I thought it was a new car because it looked new and smelled like new on the inside. It still has two years left on the factory warranty. My V6 had GT leather that my wife and I installed last winter. She said she didn't want to go thru the installation again so after we made the deal my wife said she wanted the leather seats ont of the V6 changed with the cloth seats in the GT. She also wanted the wheels and tires swapped from the V6 to the GT. The 2007 GT had the silver bullits and the V6 had the grey bullits. So, on Monday the dealer is going to swap the seats and tires & wheels to the GT.
The dealer offered to sell me an extended bumper to bumper warranty that would be for 8 years and 75,000 miles for like $1200. Does that sound like a good deal?

Depends on how much you got for the trade in and what the GT cost you.
They make most of the profits on the ESP. I would pass on it for $1200.

I gave $7,000 and my car for the GT. The V6 had less than a year left on the warranty and the GT has almost exactly 2 years left on the warranty. I think I should change the oil because there is not a sticker saying it had been changed and it only has 3,000 miles but has been in service for almost a year.

Dont rely on oil change stickers.
