Powdercoat owns painting black when it comes to longevity.
Wise decision.
And sandblasting the chrome off is a MUST.

Well, you may be right. There's a lot of "***" out there. Fortunately, a lot of it is hidden inside cars and under their hoods, where it doesn't bother anyone who jmo's against it. As I jmo against "show bars" or inconsistent badging.

How do you get the tires mounted? I would think that process would really stress the powder coating on the edges.

I have powder coated cycle rims before and they look terrible in short order. Mounting the tires was causing the most problems.

Looks very nice, man. I'm a big fan of black on black as well. How do you like the Perrilis? I went with the Toyo Proxes and have been quite satisfied.

Even if you don't happen tolike it, you could show a bit of respect by phrasing your opinion in a less insulting manner.

Personally, I think it looks fine, and suits his car.

thats not my style but it definitely looks nice. good job on going with a quality paint job. the caps look nice too. reminds me of a nascar vehicle.
