Default Header Question

I going to buy the JBA headers and Ford Dual exhaust. I just want to make sure it wont eliminate the cats and will bolt to the stock location. Does anyone have any info for me? Thanks

Here is the exhaust.

if you're referring to the "shorty" headers then you have nothing to worry about. your cats will stay. all you will be replacing is the stock exhaust manifolds and pipes for your new muffs. good luck and let us know how they work out for you!

If you're going with that setup then the only thing you shouldn't really be changing are the cats - you'll be cutting the piping after the cats and replacing with the ford x-pipe system, and obviously replacing the headers before the cats.

What are the gains, if any, come with throwing on some headers? Or is it for the sound?
