Default New Breaks??

I got 62,000 miles and I think I'm do for new breaks, should I just get new ones of the same or opt for some better ones??? I only have CAI/Tunning and an MRT muffler for mods, I might go for gears and LSD so Im wondering in my situation should I go for some performance breaks.....
Thanks......

Brakes...the word is brakes!

What year? My only perspective is my 08 which I believe is a new brake setup...and they are STRONG.

IMO, money is better spent elsewhere...I would go with new quality pads and turn thw rotors this first time around. Save the money for something more noticeable.

if youve got the money to spend on larger rotors and bear brakes or just GT takeoffs i know my dads stock gt brakes are amazing.... but i think my brakes are good as they are so id stick with the stockers unless your on the track

The GT front brake upgrade is easy and inexpensive. Ican feela lot more stopping power, especially at the track.
The rear brakes are the same on the V6 and GT.

As far as a pad upgrade, I've heard good things about the Hawk street pads, I didn't upgrade to them but when I replace next time I plan to use the Hawk pads.
