Taco Bill lowering springs HOW TO

RE: Taco Bill lowering springs HOW TO
I used it about a month ago to install a set of Ebiach Pro-kit springs. Its an excellent write-up and if you follow it you should have no problems.
I completed the rear spring install in about 30 min. The fronts took longer but there is more involved. My two biggest notes about the front install concern the spring compressor and supporting the brake assembly. The spring compressor Taco Bill has is top notch. I took the "Rent-a-tool" route from Autozone and just about threw out my shoulder from all the racheting. And I was confused as to how he supported the brake assembly with the string. There is nothing in the wheel well to tie the string to. I finally just took an extra jack stand I had and used that to keep the assembly from moving.
At the time of the installation I had both the service manual write-up and Taco Bill's. I refered to Taco Bill's more often and wound up just using the service manual as a spot check.

Taco Bills writeup will be the best writeup you will find for changing out the springs.
The only problem I had was that I did not know which way the springs went in as I had different springs than the writeup. I had to call the manufacter to make sure.
Took me 35 minutes from wheels up to wheels down.
You cannot go wrong with his writeup.
