i was wondering if anyone has gotten together a track day

i am interested in getting a few people together for a test and tune night at Racewaypark, in Old Bridge, NJ

That isn't too far from Delaware. Are you talking about a Wednesday nite T&T? I need to buy a driveshaft before I can race the vert again. That'll get ordered still this week.

You might post a similar thread in the Street & Strip forum, that's where the boys who aren't afraid to flog their stangs hang
I'm partial to Island Dragway since it is closer to me, cheaper and you get more runs for your money. Less crowded and more friendly too, although Raceway does tend to be faster track and it is a world class facility.
This Wednesday is the final barbecue night of the season at Island. $15 gets you free food & drink plus a few hours of time shots (usually only single lane). They run it from about 5 - 8pm.

i was thinking more twards september 3rd or 10th
i wanna get mostly v6 stangs there but everyone is welcome, just throwing out ideas
i am always at the track on weds so just figured i would put it out there

On avg how many passes are you getting on a Wed night?

if it is busy, you will get at minimum 3
if its not, more around 5-6
and here are the details

Wednesday:
Gates Open 5:00 pm, Test & Tune 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm (unmuffled & muffled vehicles). Tech Closes 9:00 PM.
$28 Entry Fee. $14 Pit Side/Crew Pass.

Yea, that's how I remember it. I always tried to get there as close to 5 as possible so I could cool down and get some passes in before the too many people get there. I expect it will be getting busier in Sept once vacations are over. If I'm still working in Whippany I might be up for a Wed night if the weather is good. If enough people are interested you can probably get Raceway to reserve a staging lane for us which should get us some more runs.
