Manual...Although the T5 is crap...it is so much more fun to drive a stick, and its faster

Yea i also busted my T5...blew the synchros and the transmission casing was cracked...got a new one for free though under warranty

Faster. BS. It's faster only if you shift it perfectly. Not likely with a T5.

Im 16 and I sometimes wish I had a manual but people always complain how Sh**** the transmission is... The auto trans isnt great either but get a CAI and tune and you will beat manuals since it is way more consistent than a human will ever be obv. Manuals are fun only if you got lots of power... like the vipers at work

I would go with Manual. Not like I had a choice, cobras only come in stick lol, but still if I had to choose I think stick is the way to go. It keeps you involved and gives you something to do--yanno makes you feel more connected with the car, the road, the whole driving experience and all that other good stuff

The 5r in the 4.0's is stronger, and has yielded better ET's. T5 can't take the power it seems. My auto held through for 13's, 12's, 11's and 10's. The input shaft on the auto for the 4.0 is smaller for the 4.6, but it still held up.

True, auto can definitely be more convenient. It leaves you're right hand free to do other things--one of which, is not talking on a cell phone since its illegal in California since July lol.
