Default Do you ever plan on re-doing your car's look?

I am totally happy with the way my car looks... I can't think of a whole lot more that I could do to spruce it up rather than a chin, rims, and perhaps a drop. Those things would probably complete the look I've been after for some time. Oh, and duals finally. However, I also have a knack for changing things around.... ranging from furniture to collectible displays to my own personal look. And now possibly even my car's at some point in the future.

While I do like the look of my car, I also like a more simple look... basically I'd take off the racing stripes and rocker stripes and do a single matte black hood stripe (similar to the Roush single hood stripe) and a matte black blackout at the rear. The other look I'd like to get to one day would entail removing the hypothetical hood stripe and blackout panel and replacing them with painted satin silver racing stripes. When I first was planning to get my black stripes I was having the toughest time deciding on the color I wanted. It was either going to be black or silver. And even when I was meeting with the guys that were going to install them I still wasn't sure what color I wanted. I saw someone with a Tungsten 'Stang who had the Shelby CS6 look with black stripes and that edged me over to finally deciding on black. But I still love the elegant look of silver and would like to have them painted on at some point in the future.

Is anyone else considering re-doing their car's mods (and/or general appearance) somewhere in the future? If so, what would you do?

Redoing? No. I just plan on finishing off the exterior with Saleen side skirts, a CS rear bumper and having the fender emblem and hood nozzles shaved off. Problem being, I need like 3k haha.

I'm sort of constantly in the "redoing" phase. Keep working towards my mental vision for the car a bit at a time.

yea Im in that phase right now, just slowly getting rid of the razzi side skirts I can lower it. Go bigger with the rims, and adding performance!

Whoops, intended this for the S197 board. I'm still getting used to the new style of the board!

This can be locked by a mod... I'm going to re-post it over there.

I stay out of mods b/c no return on investment and depending on mods, maybe hinderance when sell or trade. IMO. Nice laptop or HDTV is better spent money. IMO

I would get another 'clean slate' mustang if I wanted a change.
I just dont see removing appearance mods just to change things up.
The mods were carefully picked and installed by me making it a
157db limited edition of sorts.

This seems to be posted in the S197 section.
The moderators moved it already?

Um well yeah if you look a couple posts up I wrote the other day that it was intended for the S197 board and that a mod could lock this one up... apparently not many patrol the V6 board it seems.
