I was driving out of the parking lot at work and this guy walking with his girlfriend points at my car. As i pull up closer he looks at me and gives me a huge smile and thumbs up. Best part of my day.

i was kind of insulted last friday

I didnt have my car with me
but it was me my bf, a guy that had a auto 5.0 fox and some black guy with an import.
so we were talking about what mods i have on my car and future mods and mentioned that i had dual exhaust on mine

than they were making jokes and comments about some people having a non functiong muffler to make it look like duals.....pretty much insinuating that i did that to my car.....i was very insulted that they would think i would do such a thing to my car.

That just shows how ignorant some guys can be, I mean really, who would be that lame. They obviously have no idea what they're talking about.

Outside of a grocery store, a couple in a minivan stopped as my wife and I were about to go in.
The man rolls down the window and says "That car has such a nice clean and smooth look, nothing fancy, just a damn good looking car, very nice sir".

The woman then says "it just looks like its going fast as it sits there".

We said thank you, then they asked how much we paid for it. They were in shock when we told them, I can only imagine they went straight to the dealer's lot to get one.

My wife gets a lot of looks and whistles, I get a thumbs up or "nice car" when I drive it.

Hey, why can't we get a whistle every once in a while! I'm secure enough in my manhood to even handle one from some burly, hairy trucker dude! I'd just tell myself he was whistling at my stang!

LOL... some kids were just walking home from school while I was working in the garage..

I had my car pulled out into the driveway, and I guess they didn't see me. They started arguing about what kid of car it was... and some girl said "it's a Ferrari".. the boys with her made fun of her... but didn't correct her.

I poked my head up (I was working on the floor) .. and said "it's a Mustang". One of the older kids asked me to start it up... I could not resist.. and when I did.. they were all like "cool".

Kind of fun.. even if they didn't know what a mustang was....

The best compliment I've had though.. was when a guy driving a brand new black 911 pointed out my car to his girlfriend and gave me a big thumbs up.

Seems like our cars are mistaken for Ferrari's quite a bit kinda makes me feel a little less special lol

Ok here's a new one for ya! True story, happened today at Sonic drive-in when I went for my Friday "treat".
Some guy, mid to late 20's, looked like he had a brain (until he spoke!) asked me "Is that a Cobra or what actually is it?"
After I picked my jaw up off the ground in shock that he thought that to begin with, I had to answer, "No, it's an S197".
His response was truely priceless, "Wow, don't see many of those on the road"!!!
I thought to myself "are you new to this planet????" But I just tried to not LMAO and somehow muttered, "yeh they're pretty rare"!!!!
At that point, thank God, my "treat" arrived because my voice was starting to crack and I was about to begin laughing hysterically!
