Default Cheapest Place for 8.8

Ok I have decided to get the 8.8 rear. I have found two places www.newtakeoff.com and www.v6mustangstuff.com both of which offer it. I have ordered things off of Newtakeoff before and not had that well of a shipping expreince. First off shipping was 100+ for a rear bumper. Second I had to wait for weeks to find out my stuff still hadnt shipped, they give me a discount for that but still it was annoying to say the least.

So my question is where can I find the cheapest (all around cheapest) 8.8 rearend. I just want the one with the 3.31 Gears so the cheapest I have found is V6mustangs stuff. My biggest concern though is the shipping costs will be outragous. I am in SW Virginia and most company since I am in the country will deliver to my front door.

I couldnt get lucky enough to get one at the local junk yard. I called him a few hours after he sold the only S197 that was wrecked that he had and he said he didnt have any plans on getting anymore in, in the foresable future. I guess I am asking what would be the cheapest shipping because this is gonna make or break the deal, because all are around the same price but the shipping from each location maybe different

Well let me edit that, speed concepts is cheap, but where do they ship out of

Why go to the expense and labor of a rear end swap without upgrading the gears?

speedconcepts is a ripoff. All they did was take my money and never sent the parts. They NEVER answered there phone or get back in touch with you when you leave a message. These people are on the BBBs bad business's list in Southern California. The 8.8 weights over 225 lbs and does not ship cheap. newtakeoff shipped it freight to my door in 2 days for $165.00. Total price was $970.00 for 3.55s. Pretty much about the same price if I went with building up the 7.5 rear here on eastern Long Island. Plus I wanted 3.55s which are not available for the 7.5 rear. STAY AWAY FROM speedconcepts!!!
