springs hurt shocks?
hey guys i was talking to my friend who owns his own shop and he said that if i were to get eibach lowering springs only that over time it would hurt the shocks from rubbing. I have NEVER heard of this problem but didnt feel like arguing with the man bc he usually knows what hes talking about. Have you guys had any problems like this?
He said i might as well replace the shocks too....

I'm pretty sure this is true. Most people go ahead and get shocks/struts at the same time because stock shocks/struts will wear out faster with the new springs. Also, aftermarket shocks/struts will make the ride better.

He is correct, if you install aftermarket springs on the stock struts. That is because the stock struts are compressed to a different spring rate (the stock one) then the aftermarket one which is lower. therefore waring the struts out faster and giving you a bumpy ride.
The best thing to do is so get some adjustable struts from tokico. You will never regret it.

I have the Roush rear springs ($125) and Roush matching rear shocks ($175). ROUSH
^^^^^^ Under $300 and a leveling 3/4" drop.
