Remote doorlocks work sometime, sometime dont
Anyone else have this problem? There is no rime or reason to it. Just works at times and other times the doors wont unlock with either remote. Both remotes have brand new batteries and the car only has 6,000 miles(08). Ford looked at it and of coarse couldn't find any problem. They reprogrammed the remotes but it still does it.

never had a problem. mine's an '08 with 4,000 miles and it's worked like a charm every time.
I would start to keep track of when you're having the problem. if you always park in the same spot someplace it never works when you park there, maybe there's a lot of electrical interference? or maybe it only happens at night when it's getting colder? i dunno, just some ideas. if you keep a log of when the problem happens you might see a pattern to help ford fix the issue.

High electrical interference. Do the remotes only not work in your driveway
under those unsightly high tension wires you have running thru the backyard?
Get an AM radio and see if its full of humms and buzzes in the effected area.
Or get a scanner and monitor the remote freq (415Mhz) for excessing noise levels.

It is real speratic. I can be parked in the same exact place, like work for instance. One time they work and the next time they don't. Sometimes I can even lock it with the remote and go into a store and 5 minutes later come back out and it won't unlock and I have to use the key. Very frustrating.

I had that problem once. Im with the 'High electrical interference' argument. Because when it happened to me a buddy of mine parked right next to me and had the same problem. Never had it again. Plus it was in a really weird spot. Of course if it happens all the time then you could have a problem.
