Default Exhaust Quest FINALLY Over!!!

I used the SEARCH option on the forums and looked up different exhaust set ups and I stumbled on AmericanICONs set up with magnaflow mid-mufflers...
I decided just to try it out and wow I love the sound. A good deep performance sound... no annoying DRONE.

Items I bought are Magnaflow mufflers #10436 and 4" Exhaust Tips.
Had the shop do custom piping with H-pipe

Here is a diagram of what it looks like:

HERE ARE SOME VIDEO CLIPS:
-Outside Revs #1(bad feedback)

-Outside Revs #2(less feedback)

-Quick drive by...

-Acceleration then quiet cruise back...
(you can hear how loud it can be and how quiet it can be)

-Interior tone...

Exhaust FAILURES I've been through:
Flowmaster 40 series (BAD DRONE)
Flowmaster 40 Deltaflow series (STILL DRONE)
Flowmaster 40 Deltaflow series + 18" glasspack resonator (BETTER until glasspacks burned out... STILL DRONE)
Mustang GT Take Off Mufflers (TOO QUIET FOR ME)
Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers (MELLOW INSIDE NO DRONE... HORRIBLE LAWN MOWER SOUND OUTSIDE)

ThX to AmericanICON for the awesome magnaflow mid-muffler idea
Loud outside and mellow inside... Straight-Thru Mufflers FTW!
If your looking for a drone-free system.. try this set up or get some FRPP GTA/CORSAs and avoid chambered mufflers.

Your exhaust sounds great! I'm really glad that you duplicated my set up and are happy with the results! It just gets better with time too. I go to an 1/8 mile track on Friday nights and people come up to me every week to ask about my car and they are so surprised that I have a V6 because they say it sounds more like a V8.

I'm really happy that someone else has this system now and knows first hand how good it sounds because my YouTube clip doesn't do it any justice.

That does sound really mean. Do you think you can take a vid with someone holding the camera at eye level? That should get rid of most of the static.

Congrats. I can feel your pain on finding the right exhaust setup that makes you happy. Sounds good, and cost effective. I went through 3 setups before I found the one I like.
