Default Which muffler sounds the best?

Okay I have converted my car to "fake" duals just using an x-pipe. At first I liked the sound of the gt takeoff mufflers but now I think their too quiet. Is there an axel back muffler that gives more of a louder deeper tone sound more like a v-8? I know our cars will never sound like a v-8 but I'm just looking for something close.

Thanks

P.S. I searched and looked on youtube but I've noticed that cameras never really pickup the sound of exhaust too well. I would rather have personal experience then a bad sound clip on youtube.

I rain into a guy with flow master axel backs and it had a really deep and agressive sound, sounded like a GT at idle.

Flow masters huh? I've always heard good things about them on other cars so I will look into them on ours.

Thanks for the suggestion

If you're willing to spend the money, I think one of the best sounding setups can be achieved by a JBA H-pipe Midpipe setup with FRPP Stingers out back.

I might be a little biased though

Ive also heard the sound clip on www.rpmoutlet.com of the Pypes true duals and they sound great and I think the camera really captures the sound.

Best sound is all relative. We all have different opinions, I think the Borla, Corsa and FRPP are the best sounding mufflers, but you need to be willing to pay that amount for them.

X-Pipe is not a fake dual exhust.

+1, youtube exhaust clips and hear as many in person as you can. Pick one based on what appeals to you. Good Luck on the search.

X pipe is true duals if that is what you have... All you would need to buy then would be the axelbacks.

Yeah the x-pipe is not considered "fake" dual exhaust. lol If you get a y-pipe possibly then i would call it fake. But my set up is the Ford Racing Perf. Parts dual exhaust with the x-pipe. I know you wanted to hear it more personally, but here is a video I took. I love them, they are a bit quiet inside the cabin because they dont drone at all. But I love the sound when I step on it at WOT.
