Well it might bite me in the butt, but as for now the Chinese made things are holding up good. I will agree that you get what you pay for but they are SS and the are made just the SAME as the JBAs and I dont quite bite that JBA has them Made in America, Pypes makes the same thing and they are made in China.

They dont leak (knock knock), they fitted up great, and they improved performance and sound. No your right I have never had headers on a car before, but I know people who have and they said they were as well made as the set of Headman Headers he has on his 66 Vette.

As for supporting America I am all for that, but I can use the other 300 some odd dollars to buy America made products. That is just to good a deal to pass up.

i could be wrong but as far as i know, JBA is manufactured in USA. its not hard to copycat product blueprints which is what you find from the ebay headers. i believe the steel gauge used in each is one of the differences. good luck with the ebay headers and let us know how they work out for you in the short run and long term.

Do not get headers unless you are going FI!! Trust me on this guys cause I have actually had them and they don't do much until you go FI and even then it's pretty minimal. But if you have to get them go Long Tubes. MAC makes the only long tube for the 4.0 unless Kooks makes them I am not sure. But long tube will get the the most "minimal" gains.

IMO save your money for something that will give you some real gains maybe gears or P/P the intake or something. TRUST ME

I had JBA shorties. It sounded good and was a little louder but I don't think it was worth the money but I was also trying to ounce out every drop of power I could.

Mac, Kooks, and Stainless Works all make long tubes for the 4.0
