ok so after arguing with the dealer for 5 hours today i am officially frustrated... They asked for all oil change reciepts so i explained to them that i change my own oil i proceed to tell them that i changed my oil 4500 miles prior to the car breaking down and they said that due to sludge in the engine they cannot cover the damages.... i did not think that sludge would build up that fast but i guess i was wrong i am now in a dilemma

Dude, that really blows. You assume that the dealer is gonna try and weasel out of covering something major like that, just because of how they are by nature, but that's really low. I hope that somehow it'll all work out for you.

I had a problems like this here in MD. I had a motor part on my fan go bad. The deal said it was my fault and I had to pay. So after two weeks I call the big wigs in Detroit. I complained and explained that between my parents and I we have owned over 8 fords. I told them I has highly upset and there was a local chevy dealer with really nice cars. A couple of days later my local garage called and said they had someone coming to get my car and it would be fixed free of charge. Then I got a letter from Detroit saying that they were sorry about the actions of my local dealer.

Maybe you should try this! Good luck!

my father is going up there not to raise hell but to speak with them in as CALM as possible... The stealership called me today and said it was bent valve. I complained with them some more and hope fully my dad can get them to realize that sludge does not build up that fast. I guess this means new engine lol....
