Will you put the GT emblems on it to make it look fast when along side a real one only to drag your foot off the peddle......Mods your doing, save the money and buy a 50 inch Plasma.....IMO, of coarse.
Some of us don't have cylinder envy...maybe you should have bought a GT because it sounds as if you do...

If that's the case why buy a mustang gt why not save up for a Ferrari or something? I didn't get the car in hopes of running 10's or anything like that. I got the car cause I love mustangs and especially the drop top I have. I actually went to the dealership to look at a 2004gt and fell in love with this car. Modding my car is a hobby I loved to work on it and personalize it. I don't care if a civic pulls up next to me and smokes me as long as I'm happy with how my car looks and performs that's all I care about. I'm not going to put gt badges on my car because I'm not trying to fool anyone. As for the 50" plasma I have to turn that down. I have a 70" Mitsubishi projection, a 54" samsung lcd and 3 32" samsung lcd's. That's more then enough for me.

I made the mistake of getting a new car once. 3 years later I traded it in and still took a huge hit.

Because a 6er can be made faster and look nicer for the same cost as a GT, until you then account for the lower insurance rate and the increased fuel efficiency. There is of course that.

* That is at equal cost, though. Not unlimited funding. It goes without saying that a GT will handily beat a V6 any day of the week if they are both tweeked properly.

I had to drive 7 hours round trip to Tampa this weekend but I picked up a pair of gun metal stock 17" gt rims. I'm hoping that the rest of the parts will start to flow in soon. I also went ahead and purchased a screamin deamon coil pack and wires, Zabteck bored out throttle body and a shaftmaster aluminum drive shaft. The car is up on jacks all stripped down ready for all the installs.

I made the same mistake, but I'm going to drive mine until the wheels fall off.
