Default my color yes or no?

Well as you all know my center console is pretty much screwed up. Any way I was fooling around with black empty cover where the controls for the my colore dash option is suppose to be, I poped the latch and found that my car as the extra wire for it. So what do you think guys should I get or not. How much do you think it might run me?

I think it will be more money than what it's worth. You could easily put a few hundred into another mod because I don't see this being any less than 200-300 henge for this option.

I want it personally just for the information center. Plus my aftermarket head unit has blue lighting so it'd be nice if the cluster matched it.

I use the information center all the time. trip by time or mileage. door ajar. trunk ajar, MPG, average MPH, system check and much more. plus the 2 extra gauges and the color which i have not changed since i put it in 3 years ago.

the switch and the cluster are around 220 and the re flash is around 75. i myself would get the stuff , install the switch and have the bezel off and the screws loose (4 of them) on the cluster. don't change it yet as they need to upload the info from it and re flash it to the new one. however in some cases if the used cluster came out of the same type of mustang it was a direct swap. when i did mine 3 years ago there were not alot of damaged mustangs out yet so i didn't have that option. i did however give the dealer the mileage because that is set at the factory and cannot be reset. most dealer will wheel and deal with this if not we have a few on here that will ship the stuff to you.

it is a great mod i just with it was not even an option , that car should have come with it from the beginning. you have to set your priorities not all mods are go fast ones!

at first I thought it was kinda cool. Then I got to where it was kinda hokey. But the info it provides is pretty useful, and I do like to be able to switch the colors, especially for long drives. And like I said the info center is awesome for mpg, miles traveled, avg speed, etc, etc. I think if I didn't have it, and I could have it for $300-$400 I defintely would now that I've had it for awhile. So I've come full circle from liking it, to not, to back liking it ALOT.

It was one of the options that I ordered on my car. Even though I mostly keep it on blue, the information for gas mileage and such does come in handy. I'm glad I got it.

I use the information gauge all the time, I didn't know they were combined. I thought he was just talking about getting the mycolor option for his console, not for his dash.
