speakers in front doors

has anyone put any 6.5 componants in the car? how is it done? do i have to make new glass kick pods?

i know they fit in 2004 and below models..but i dunno about 05's...open the panal and measure i guess

I went with 5.25/ Speaker mounts are plastic risers....6.5 and you will be cutting sheet metal! and there is NO Way your window will go down if you remove the plastic risers. Woudl not suggest
