C&L and Bama tunes.. power gain?
How much more rwhp do we get if we just add the c&l with the bama tunes. I remember reading it somewhere on these forums 25 rwhp but I do not think that's correct I think that's a GT. I read on the c&l website 10-12 gains. Anyone know cuz im getting mine soon. No matter what the hp gain I know ill be happy

From what I could decipher, 16hp with Dougs tunes on the C&L site.

Probably depends on the octane tune, but I would expect:
-87 Performance/Race w/C&L= about 16-18rwhp
-89 Performance/Race w/C&L= about 19-21rwhp
-91 Performance/Race w/C&L= about 22-24rwhp
-93 Performance/Race w/C&L= about 25-27rwhp
Those are just educated guesses from what I have rear about octane, tuning, and rwhp gains. There should be bigger gains from the tunes if you have more mods than the cold air intake, I don't know about noticably more but definitely the more mods you have the more power the tune will give you and a better powerband.
Edit: I am not bull****ting you, I used to own an S197 V6 stang.

From the C&L site I posted:
"The MINIMUM improvement that our V8 combo provides is typically 23 rear wheel horsepower. 2/3rds of that amount equals 15.18 HP, which is actually pretty close to the results that you will see here in our testing"
Their dyno sheet only shows a 12.03hp gain because they weren't using 93 octane, and they make that disclaimer from the start.
From C&L again:
"Be VERY cautious of outlandish performance claims made by others promising "V8 type" performance improvements on the new V6 Mustang. While we would love to claim that this system performs just as well as the 26-31 HP gains that can be realized by our 3V GT systems, you have to consider that your improvements are proportional to your starting power level. A new V6 Mustang makes roughly 2/3rds the power of the V8 model, and it would be unrealistic to believe that the same type of air intake and tuning modifications would make more than 2/3rds the improvement of what the V8 models receive"
This was the very reason I bought a C&L to begin with. NO BS.

my stock 2006 s197 baseline dyno ran 166 RWHP HP,
After C&L, Brenspeed 91 tune and FLowmaster AT, an 10,000 miles . I made 191... RWRWHP (real world, Rear wheel Horse Power) gain of 25....
Since then Ive added SS shorty headers and zabtech TB so I might have nudged +30.....I hope to hit 200 RWHP/240 Engine N/A...but prob not. Air's too thin at 2500'
