CAI + Tune would give you some power.

I dont think you should get the 8.8 rear axel if you dont plan on going FI, I would just get the T-Lok for the 7.5

You could also buy new underdrive pulleys, headers, ect... Just look around.

CAI+aggressive tune, gears w/t-lok should keep you satisfied for a year or two. Driveshaft is supposed to be a great mod too.. but haven't done that yet..

If you are serious about going FI, get the 8.8 and an x-cal 3.

You need a tuner if you get a new rear end or gears to fix you're speedometer. I would go cai/tune next and if you have more money and want f/i in the future get an 8.8 rear with gears, no f/i get a t-lok and gears. Best bang for buck n/a mods are cai/tune, exhaust, and gears/lsd. After that would come Aluminum Driveshaft and that's $500 for less rotational mass and supposedly up to 2 tenths quicker in the 1/4 mile, and you can see your dollar/gains drops dramatically and even less after that. I'd say do those mods I listed and then save for f/i. Good Luck!

Just know that if you go with a turbo you won't be able to use the cai anymore, and you probably want 3.55 or 3.31 gears.

Why 3.55 or 3.31?...would it be ok not to get the tune after I get a rear end and just get it after I get the CAI?...also this prolly sounds retarted but what do y'all mean by FI? Thanks lol

FI=Forced induction=Boost=Supercharger,Turbocharger,Nitrous

Depending on what forced induction you get, should determine what gears you get. Centrifugal type superchargers have max boost in the high rpms and work better(accelerate quicker) with higher numerical gears (3.73's, 3.90's, 4.10's, etc). Some centri chargers are Vortech, Procharger, and Paxton. Turbo you should definitely get 3.55 at the most. I think that's what Fazm is running with his turbo set-up and makes over 400rwhp. Roots type blower is a toss-up and makes a lot of low end power. Some people will say high gears are too much and others use them with the car and have no problems (beaustang=4.10s, x-charger and other mods). Roots is the x-charger.

If you get 3.31 gears you won't need a retune b/c that's the stock gear ratio. Other than that you will need a tune or a tuner to tell your computer the gear ratio on your car has changed so your speedometer is correct and your car runs fine.

3.73's will be perfectly fine with any supercharger, turbo setup. Don't fear the gears.
