Okay so basically I just bought an XCal 3 tuner from a friend of mine. He has never uploaded any tunes to his car, and the tuner already came with 3 tunes (87,91, and 93 Octane).

So I already purchased my tune from Bamachips, 91 race tune. I download X3LiveWire from the SCT website. I plugged in the tuner to my computer and uploaded the tune for my car under the #1 slot.

So I'm looking at the settings, and it says that the tuner is LOCKED. I'm like WTF, my friend must of not lied and used it on his car. So I call up my friend, and then brings his car over. We plugin the Xcal3 to his car and try to reflash it to stock.. but it says that it can't because it is not the right vehicle..

He bought a tuner + CAI package, but it seems that the tuner is LOCKED and it won't unlock at all. Is it because I uploaded my tune? My calibration code is the same as his car tho..

What do you guys think I should do? I'm really confused here Who should I contact for this?

Well I need the SCT Xcal tuner.. I need it to be unlocked but I don't know who to call for this.
