Fuse box tap in????
I read on another forum that the passenger fuse box has open slots that are available if you want to use it use a 12v ignition "turn-on" source, like for running gauges and such. Is this true and if so how?

Easy. Go to autozone and get a "add a line" fuse. They are in the electrical aisle near the fuses. We have the min-blade style. They are about $5.
I cannot recall the number, but the manual lists a few open slots and if they are all or key hot. I ran my GPS hardwire to it as a key hot...works great. You can get a solid ground just under the glovebox where the plastic mounts to the frame.
