so how easy is it to paint the fang chin spoilers or does any body have/know were I can get one already painted black.

Also I want it to be flat black so should I put clear coat on it or do they make a matte clear coat or no clear coat

It's matte black, like the rocker panels on a stock V6 (or GT500)

it comes with some holes in the spoiler. i simply just drilled small holes in the bumper and attached it with screws. no problems.

Wow I looked on fangs website at the bumper and 200 bucks seems reasonable but when I checked shipping to CA they wanted 150 bucks for Fedex overnight! THat is ridiculous!

shipping a portion of a car bumper across the country in one evening isn't cheap. Try looking for the 5-7 day rate if you want to pay something reasonable for shipping.

Unless your planning on plowing snow in the morning with your new fang, I dont see why you'd feel that an overnight delivery is needed.

LoL no snow plows needed in CA. That was the only rate they offered was for Fedex overnight shipping for the chin spoiler. Any one else getting the same shipping problem? Maybe that is the only shipping they offer......lame.

negative, the fang comes in raw fiberglass, it's yellowish/tan in color. It's easy to paint though, i just used some duplicolor adhesion promotor, 3-4 coats of sandable primer, wetsand with some 600 grit sandpaper, and then I used krylon fusion's camouflage ultra flat black paint. i wouldn't get it painted professionally, because chances are you're going to have to paint it multiple times after it's been chipped up. I've painted mine 3 times and also had to fiberglass and bondo it after I broke it almost in half.

Hope this helps.

I think it's helping me decide not to get it..lol...that sounds like a lot of work re painting and re fiberglassing and bondo'in it....I've seen alot of threads on here that say not to get it cause of the fact it's Fiberglass...but seems like the only affordable one that looks good.
