Angry 2005 V 4.0 Tachometer Gauge pegging out

Hi to all, I'm having a little problem in my Tachometer pegging all the way to the right tonight on the way home from the ER with my son, and no was not racing in it I don't race, this is our everday car for the Family, any info would help us out. Thanks Heidi

Guess there is no real MotorHeads in this Forum that can even suggest anything on this Problem..

Wow.. 45 minutes too long to wait for a reply? I guess you are right, no real motor heads here.. take it in to the dealership.

WOW.... i know exactly what your issue is, and its NOT your tachometer problem. Check yourself HEIDI

There is a TSB on the junction box in the passenger footwell area getting wet and causing all sorts of wacky electric problems. Don't know if that would cause it, just an idea.

3.) Still no Real MotorHeads in the Forum
4.) Dealership Not needed Fixed it Myself..

the thread got no replies most likely because no one had had the problem themselves. and you gave it a day. not everyone on here with knowledge pertinent to your problem gets online every single day.

and saying that none of us are motorheads didn't help you get any good answers.

Glad you fixed it. Next time, give it some more time and don't insult. You'll get better results.
