two tone paint job
#12
Im wicked curious to see if it comes out nice. I've never been a fan of the two tone paint job though. Like the picture odyssey put up on page one, its HIDEOUS IMO. However, sonic blue and Black i think would look great!
Be our guinea pig and get it done so we can see if it looks good or not!!

do the pin stripe just drove by a local dealer that has custom mustangs and they had a black on top and either vapor blue or some thing very similar with a silver pin stripe maybe a 1/2" wide (just drove by and say it) and it look AWSOME

In my sig you can see my two tone job. We had a yellow pinstripe seperating the black and yellow and then a black pinstripe below that but it just didn't look right so we took it off, see below.
Edit: be sure to far enough down on the body line like we did. I've seen others that have not and it just doesn't look right.

You're painting over 3/4 of a car here, unless you don't clear over the two tone line.
Only the bumpers remain untouched.
I would check out the shop that gave you that quote.
My guess is they'll use sh#ty quality paint and won't take anything off the car. Not even the windshield washer squirters. Poor craftsmanship will be the order of the day.
To give you an idea, materials alone will be around $500 with a good job...
