Default emissions testing w/ cai and tune?

Am I going to have to install the ugly rubbery thing again?

yesssss. most tuners turn off the back 02 sensors. i know brent and doug can write emissions friendly tunes not sure about evo though. but yes you will have to return tune to stock and put back on stock air box. plus will have to do a drive cycle(up to 100 miles) before the rear o2 will be ready for the smog test.

I left my Brenspeed 93 octance tune and CAI on my car for inspection. They did the emissions test and I passed with no problems. I live in Texas so I don't know if we're stricter or more lenient here. You shouldn't have any problems in my opinion.

depends on your state, MA plugs into your ODBII computer, the state computer will read the tune and automatically fail you.

hmmm anyone know about Maryland? I reinstalled her to stock tonight but for future reference in MD.....
