c'mon guys we all know that drop in filters are worth a good 25rwhp... leave the op alone.

but in all seriousness as project 85 stated its quite simply the placebo effect ur getting with the drop in. u believe the drop in increases performance so significantly so thats what ur mind is gonna make u feel as u drive. as for the gt takeoff good job. i guess for the sake of spending ur first hundred gt takeoff and maybe a shorty antenna lol get rid of the 29" beast

ask the site mod nanaki, he witnessed a termi pick up 25 RWHP from just a drop in filter. in reality, if your not going to tune your car for an intake and do just the CAI, your only going to get 1-2 rwhp, the stock air box is rated to flow 7 times the amount of air the engine can handle. its the tune that gives the big bump.

I do agree the GT-take off is a good start for those on a budget
No placebo effect here. If you read my post, you'll see that I never said that the K&N increased performance. It only smoothed out the coarse engine sound a bit. I also noticed a very slight bump in mpg. Some Mustang owners experience this and some don't. It seems to be a matter of how a particular car reacts. The bump in acceleration came from the GT take-off. I did this mainly for sound. The slight performance gain was a side benefit I wasn't expecting.
