Question The things we'd do (& have done) for our cars!

so yesterday, i drove 4 hours in a "wintery mix" to meet a guy from craigslist at a parkway rest stop to buy a GT C/S front bumper for my 07 v6. On the way home i realized it was pretty ridiculous and laughed about it but never once regretted it. I doubt i'm the only one to do something a little crazy for my car and knew if anybody else had good stories it would be you guys, so please share....

I drove around 4 hours to get a 2005 Black Manual when there was a cheaper, 2005 Black auto in my hometown...

Not sure if this qualifies, but it seemed pretty insane at the time.

Pretty much un-eventful for my mods. I ordered them, installed them, and love them I did however drive 50 miles to pickup a set of muffler from a guy on craigslist once

Ahh, I only drove about 45 minutes to go pick it up. We somehow managed to ghetto-rig it to fit inside the car. I stuck the two pipes in the back seat and stuffed the rest in the trunk.

I'll definitely post pictures once its on because at the same time ill be having the stripes painted on and getting a little blue pin stripe painted on the edges to break it up

i ordered my pypes dual exhaust kit from RPM outlet....obviosly i got the shaft from their customer service when i only got 3 of 4 boxes.....i was only missing the most important part....the x pipe!!!!!!!

i finally had enough with them and went directly to the Pypes manufacturing facility in PA, about a 3 hour drive each way to pick it up.....fun fun fun

i and i do it again in a heartbeat...i love my Mustang
