New GT Front
Ok I am going to get me a GT front in the near future, but I am having trouble finding the parts I need. I know I need the cover and air dam and fenderwells.
I have no idea where to find them now that NewTakeOff doesnt have all the parts anymore.
I need Satin Silver, which I proably wont find since they stopped making it in 06 or 07 but any will do if I have to have it repainted

although a little pricey, they do still have take-off GT parts at Ninosport...

just installed the GT bumper & Bullitt grill
I have a Satin Silver 07 V6 and installed the 07 GT bumper with Agent 47 lower bumper insert and 08 Bullitt upper grill. Pic below. I love the install, real clean and simple. Not hard to do this install at all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND though buying new V6 bumper brackets that come with the white clips on it used for installing the front turn signal lenses on the GT bumper. FORGET drilling out the revits of these brackets on the V6 bumper when you take it off. Way too much trouble dealing with this, and you most likely will f**k up the bracket taking it off the V6 bumper. Both the driver's side and passenger's side brackets cost me only $20 for brand new ones. You only have to buy the mounting hardware at Home Depot to put these on the new GT bumper. I recommend getting yourself a brand new GT bumper and getting it painted. Jack

Since I'm lazy and I don't feel like retyping all of the part numbers, I'll quote one of my posts from a different thread. I too have a satin silver car and I had to have my takeoff parts repainted. The bumpers were $200 each and I painted the rocker panels myself. I suggest calling newtakeoff, ninosport, brenspeed, or whoever your ordering from and ask them if they have any blemished parts that they will let go for cheap. Generally they will sell the scratched bumpers dirt cheap. I bought blemished parts on ebay and saved a bunch of money.
This is an easy install. You don't need to use rivets. Although you will need to use a drill to drill through the rivets on your v6 bumper that hold the turn signals in place. On the new bumper you can just use some small stainless steel nuts and bolts to hold the lights in place. Check out this thread https://mustangforums.com/m_1121391/tm.htm it explains everything.
Here is a list of additional parts you will need:
-Foam Bumper isolator: 5R3Z-17C947-BA
-Splash Shield: 5R3Z-17626-BA
-Both Fender Liners: 5R3Z-16102-BA and 5R3Z-16103-BA
-Screws: N801169-S900 You will need 8 screws all together (2 packs)
-Nuts: W705992-S441 You will need 3 nuts all together (1 pack)
Just a hint- When installing the splash sheild that mounts under the radiator, The square shaped nuts (W705992-S441) have to be snapped into the bottom of the lower radiator support before the splash sheild is in place. There are small square shaped cut out already in place from the factory, the nuts just snap in place. Hold the splash shield in place to make sure you snap the nuts into the correct holes. Then use the screws (N801169-S900) to mount the sheild. It sounds complicated but it isn't. You will see what I'm talking about when you are under the car. If I remember correctly you will only use 7 of the 8 screws that you will need to order from Ford, so don't be worried if you have one left over.
To wire up your fog lights you will need the street scenes wiring harness. http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku I recommend taking the GT grill out of the bumper before you install it. That way you have room to plug the wiring harness into the fog lights. If you try to install this while the grill is in place you won't have much room and you will probably have to unsnap it from some of its mounts to give you a bit more room.
This is an easy install. Don't be intimidated by it. I suggest using ramps or jack stands to get the front of the car off the ground because it makes things a bit easier.
