I currently have a 91 performance tune that came with my superchips flashpaq.. i've noticed that a lot of people go to bamachips to order tunes or get custom dynod tunes.. does it make a big difference over the superchips tune, and is the difference worth paying for another tuner?

yes it is completely worth it. Dont know if he can write a tune for the falshpaq though

regardless, i'm a manual, with bamachips, and i couldn't be any happier with the response I got out of the engine using a SCT tuner! I love how there are parameters that you can adjust too... like for gearing and wheel revolutions to correct your speedo when you mod (later down the road maybe).

ITS WORTH IT. not gonna feel like a V8 but it sure beats the factory granny tune and even the canned tunes from the programmers.

It's definately superior especially for an auto. Bamachips is the best, but you're probably going to need a new device like a SCT X2, 3, or Diablo Sport

Go with BAMA, you won't regret it. I dont know how well your Superchips tune is but, I'm pretty sure it doesn't compare to a Race tune

The difference is night and day with a BAMA tune.

Bama (and Brenspeed, VMP, etc) tend to write more aggressive tunes than the canned tunes.

A tune custom for your car, provided by a reliable tuner, is the BEST setup. It takes advantages of your car's specific characteristics in a safe manner.
And yeah, if you have an automatic, a good tune REALLY makes a BIG difference!
(I've had 2 tuners, SWTuning and VMP, and both were great!)
