Default How much do you think I can get for my car?

Car facts:
2005 Auto V6 Redfire stang
27k miles
Mods in sig, I would put the rear seat back in and throw on the 87 octane tune.

I'm hoping at least 10k, maybe 11. I was planning a drag car 5.0, but I want a fast daily driver and reliability so I am going to finance a mach 1, S197 GT, or LS1 f-body () and use the money from the stang as a down payment. I might be paying out the *** for insurance but I will get what I finally wanted fairly easily:
-sick V8 exhaust sound
-mid-low 12sec daily driver (with bolt-ons/internals, no forced induction)

Any input is appreciated and if you know anyone who wants a low mileage S197 V6 stang in the Long Island/ Upper NJ/NYC/Staten Island area let me know.

What do you guys think I could get?

PS-I have in my garage unused, unreturnable dual pypes delete axleback, and stock gt dual axleback if anyone wants to come and pick them up for a cheap price. PM if interested. I also have the JBA dual conversion kit (reverse y-pipe) too if anyone is interested.

You MAY find a private buyer...but it may be tougher than you think.

I just looked and trade will be 6-7K. They are retailing cars for under $10K similar to yours...so don't expect anywhere close to that from a dealer. Our local dealers have several older 6's sitting ont he lot for $10K +/-...and they just sit there collecting dust. Brand spankin' new 6's can be had for $14-15K...so folks are going to jump on those deals 99/100.

Why fear the FI? For ALLOT less money, you can get a reliable and super fast scoot. $5K and you have what you want. $5K to step up big time....or $20+K (maybe more) to really step up.

I plan on running an X as soon as my warranty vanishes. I wont got for low 12's..but low 13's is a realistic and affordable goal keeping longevity and driveability in check.

Try and sell as many of the aftermarket parts and get it as close to stock as possible. You might be able to get a little more money back that way.

10k? Thats it? No way.

Sell the aftermarket parts. Sell the car for around 12k.

I'll buy that SLP exhaust you got on

Sorry bro...but that is WAY off the mark.

Brand new 6'ers are only $14-15K....and there are tons of them. No way an 05 V6 will bring more than $9K. Just a reality of the current economy.
