I'm thinking about switching out my GT takeoffs for axel back JBAs. There is a guy I know who is willing to sell them to me for $150.00. What do you guys think....is it a good deal? He said it they have about 20K miles on them.
Do you think I should go through the trouble?

See if he'll swap with you for less.

I have some custom-made mac resonator axle-backs that I'd sell for that much, and be louder! (new, used less than 10 miles)

Thanks, I've decided to stick with what I've got. I just don't feel like switching them out and chancing it might rattle. Right now, I have no problems with mine.

JBA's sound great. very nice deep throaty american tone that is not excessive. perfect for my taste. only problem i have is the price he's asking. $100 for the pair is more reasonable for used muffs.
