OK so I'm turning 17 on Jan. 28 and I'm going to get a mod for my car. Long story short, I can't make up my mind.

*my first choice was getting an overlay grille

I am just looking for some opinions of what would look good, I am trying to get a GT muffler, but my mom doesn't want me doing performance stuff until next Christmas when she pays it off, then i can buy anything I want for it.

** does anyone have pics of the grille, if i get that i will probably have to take the horse emblem off, because it might show through the grille, right?

Out of those I'd say louvers. But honestly man if you want an exhuast just get an axleback of your choice, you wont notice much difference powerwise but it'll sound a whole lot better, almost anythings an improvement. Treat yourself, its your birthday.

Before I read the second part of your post, I was already going to suggest upgrading the exhaust. Get a little show AND a little go.

But I'm more of a performance mod kinda guy, so I can't really give too much advice on appearance mods except save your money, haha jk.

Nice looking stang though. Looks alot like mine except I love the hood stripe you have, it's a great compliment to the side rockers.

I would go with louvers. I like the silverhorse racing louvers better. They are flush mount and look more like the sixties. Just an opinion.

Congrats on being 17, with a Mustang, and being able to do stuff to it!

I''d like to know the grill answer, too, although I'm probably looking to get a whole different grill and not an overlay.

A muffler swap is a good first mod; you'll feel a little more power and it will sound a helluva lot better!

I would like to upgrade the exhaust, but my parents bought me the car, so until next christmas all mods must be approved by them. after that i can do any thing I want. My mom isn't to crazy about the muffler so it might have to wait.

How do all of ya'll think the billet grille would look on a satin silver car with the matt black stripes.( see above photos)

if it was a black billet grill it would look good, but IMO i would get the louvers.

I like the bullitt grill on the satin silver personally. Between the 2 choices, I would do louvers. The silver grill would be too much in my opinion.

^^ It's a V6 the Bullitt Grille doesn't fit...

Anyway I say a black billet grille or a pair of louvers since there's a lot to choose from(check out the SHR louvers).
