Default A Few Mod Pics

Well, it finally broke 32 degrees today...so I actually was able to wash the car. I had to snap a few pics for a fellow member here as he was going to buy the same wheels I have (18" Polished Bullitts).

So, new mods here are the tint, FRPP (now with GT rolled tip takeoffs in lieu of the GTBs), the 18" Polished Bullitts and the new rear end (cant really see that).

For now...I think I am done. I love the stance of the car and the wheels look just stunning. I hate to say it...but I might be DONE! I only have 3K miles...so I need to drive it a bit more. Once that 36K mark rolls along, FI is in order. We have a local tuner that is a Vortech installer, so that is probably my direction of march.

So...what do you all think?

Looks pretty good for still under warrenty. I might put some lowering springs and later on some shocks and camber plates. I think your good till the 36 rolls around.

Where did you get your wheels and what did you have to pay for them

Wheels are OEM California Special Takeoffs. My wife worked some kind of deal for me on the wheels while I was in Iraq. I think they were right at a grand mounted with TPMS etc...quite a steal IMO. There are some aftermarket option out there...but the Cali wheels look just amazing. The 18" wheel seems to fill the wheel well a bit more even though the overall diameter is basically unchanged. Looks allot better than the OEM bullitts for sure. Best part was, I sold the OEM bullitts for $500...so this was a very cheap upgrade.

Our local dealer builds lots of high end racers (I think they are the 3rd or 4th oldest Ford dealer in the country). The owner has a collection of Fords that would make Jay Leno blush...these guys always have tons of takeoff parts, so I lucked out that the wheels were there.

looks good man! I tried to wash my car when it was 31 degrees out.. not the best decision.. you might want to look into getting gt takeoff sideskirts, the matte black ones drive me insane!
