Alright, so I know that I'm changing my mind more often than a woman, but every day I find a different mod that I like. I really like the look of the CDC Shaker Hood Scoop. Just wondering if anybody can give me their opinion on it. I know it doesn't give you any power gains with stock application but what about with CAI & tune. That in itself is worth +20HP but I want a little more... If anyone has any opinion on this let me know, especially if you have this set up.

A CAI and tune will give roughly the same amount of hp increase regardless of brand or hood scoop. If you want more hp then more mods are needed.

ODDYSEY

The CDC shaker is more or less just an appearance mod. It has such little gains it is almost unoticeable.

I've got a shaker on my sixer. Not worth much performance-wise. I'm thinking about pulling the ducting and getting a CAI and tune. It does look good though! But, if you don't have one already, I'd suggest spending your hard-earned cash some other way.

If you really want it, go for it. It's your car. If my mind wasn't set on the Terlingua hood (when it comes out) i'd go for the shaker.

its out its the same one as the cs6 you just have to make it functional your self

Haha, I know the CS6 is out. But the Terlingua has a much deeper draw and has additional vents on the hood by the cowl area.
