Default Trading in the V6

I know some here have traded in their V6 for a GT, and I'm giving in and doing the same thing, there's some good deals on 09s now, but to those that have, what is the best way to sell the 6-er? I don't think the dealer will give me a good deal for it, it's an 2006 with some mods, 71K on the odometer, payed off.........

good luck with the new stang purchase. wish i could help on how to sell the v6. i just traded my v6 in a gt and then a yr later traded the gt in for another gt. the dealer both times gave me more than what i owed for the car. so was kind of a no brainer. esp for the second gt. they gave me 18k and i owed 17k and nothing down with same payments a month. so i traded a car that i put 30k miles on in 15 months and wrecked it, fishtailed in the rain, when i had tc permanently turned off.
what color gt you wanting to get?
good luck again with the process. you will love having the gt

Don't sell it to a dealer. Sell it yourself. More of a pain, but you get a substantial amount more out of it.

+1..if you can afford to sell it yourself; otherwise you're paying $1000+ for the dealer to do it for you.

Put the stock intake and tune back on to un-marry your tuner from your car so you can use it on your new Mustang.

Well Dealers got to make money on their trade ins. I would sell it yourself it you can, but you picked a real good time to do so, I mean they have some deals on the new ones, but you anit gonna be able to get rid of that 6er

06 sixxer with 71k? Expect about $6k from the dealer. You should be able to get $8-9K locally via Craigs List if you are patient. Prepare to deal with some whackos though.

I had a guy want to trade me 9 Doberman puppies for my wife's car...seriously.

Clean it up in the spring and on a warm Sunday, it will sell.
