You should have the speedo checked for calibration or you can do it yourself by checking the time to go one mile by the highway mile markers .60 mph is exactly 1 mile per minute ,65 mph is 1 mile every 55.38 secs and 70 mph is 1 mile every 51.42 .You can also check it by going say 60 mph and as soon as the odometer goes to 0 where it shows the tenths click your stopwatch hold speed steady as you can preferably on level stretch of road and when the 0 comes back up click on it again.I know that my speedo is about 1 - 1.5 mph to fast at 60 which I believe is the way the factory sets them to cover themselves in case you get a ticket. So because of the way there set up you should probably get a time of 61 or 61.5 seconds for 1 mile at 60 mph .Anything beyond that your speedo is off. Also if you changed tire size it will effect not the speedo calibration but the actual reading of the speedo.

Most info I've seen shows the sixer with a manual weighs about 3350lbs. In my opinion, that isn't too heavy for our size car given the front engine, rear wheel drive layout and the various mandatory safety features it has. The car's weight is light enough to feel nimble and responsive and yet heavy enough to feel solid on the road and not get blown around by the wind... I like it

get rid of the Shaker + speakers and sub (if you have one) that will save a whole bunch...if you can live with no music

Are our cars that heavy where we don't pull as quick as other, lighter cars? Is there any way to reduce the weight of our cars? It's kind of annoying lol.
now that i took another look at this i noticed that it really doesnt make sense. doesnt have anything to do with weight even though we have a horrible power to weight, if youre going at a constant velocity and people are passing you its because theyre going faster......get your speedo checked though..
